Purple: The left upper curve is curved more, resembling a half oval or even a small portion of a circle. While the right hand upper curve resembles more of an "L" shape. As the curve begins to rise it is a lot more straighter, while the left is ore curvy.
Orange: The orange shows the difference between the ridges. While the left hand curves like a "V" or check shape. While on the right hand, the ridges are a lot more straighter. The right resembles more of a "C" shape, rather then a "V" like the left.
Red: The red shows the definition of the ridges at the end of the palm. In the left hand you can see that the ridges and creases are more defined, while the right has barely any creases and ridges a less defined. I believe that this maybe due to the activity and usage of the hand. My left had is almost always bunched up to keep warm, while the right hand is used to right and play sports.
Blue: The blue shows a branched groove that has a oval shape inside of it. While the left has this shape present, the right does not. This is the most significant mark on my palms and thus is key when differentiating the palms apart.

When looking at fingerprints as individual identification for criminal cases, I feel that they should be used at secondary to fingerprints. Palms become especially important when trying to identify if a suspect has used a weapon like a hammer or bat. This way you can match up their prints to the object. Most likely you will still be able to find prints and those should always be examined first even if they are partials. However, lip prints maybe more useful then palm prints because they are unique to an individual. It may be difficult or easy depending on the type of lipstick or chap stick they have used. Lipstick can become try and and difficult to identify specific grooves. If the individual has to much lipstick the print maybe smear and difficult to identify grooves due to lack of impression. Another thing to think of is lip gloss is easy to smear as well and could be like wearing thick lipstick. My opinion stands firm, in that fingerprints are a much easier individual identifier.
